Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This policy explains what personal information Upmarx collects across our websites, upmarX, Skelbiz, and client engagements, why we collect it, and what control you have over it. It applies whether you're a prospective client filling out our contact form, an upmarX student, or an administrator using a Skelbiz or School Digitization deployment.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly - such as your name, email, company, and project details submitted through our contact form - along with standard technical data like browser type, device information, and pages visited, gathered through normal website analytics. If you use upmarX, we also collect learning activity data such as questions attempted, response times, and topic-level performance, since that data is what drives the adaptive engine itself.

2. How We Use It

We use submitted information to respond to inquiries, scope potential engagements, and improve our products and services. Learning activity data within upmarX is used specifically to calibrate question difficulty, generate performance analytics, and power the parent and institute dashboards described on our product pages. We do not sell personal information to third parties, and we do not use client project details for marketing without explicit permission.

3. Cookies & Analytics

Our websites may use cookies and similar technologies to understand aggregate usage patterns, remember basic preferences, and improve site performance. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; doing so may limit some site functionality but will not block core content.

4. Third-Party Services

Where we integrate third-party services - such as ClassOnApp ERP for school digitization deployments, cloud infrastructure providers for Skelbiz and upmarX hosting, or payment processors for any billed engagement - those providers process data under their own privacy terms, which we review before integration to confirm they meet a comparable standard of care.

5. Data Security

We apply industry-standard security practices, including encrypted transport, access controls, and regular review of infrastructure configuration, across the systems that support upmarX, Skelbiz, and client engagements. No system is perfectly secure, and we disclose material incidents to affected users promptly if one ever occurs.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected - typically the duration of an active engagement or account, plus a reasonable period for legal and accounting records. You can request earlier deletion subject to any regulatory retention requirements that apply.

7. Children's Privacy

upmarX serves NEET aspirants, some of whom are minors. Where a user is under the age of majority, account creation and data handling are scoped to what's necessary for the adaptive learning experience, with parent or guardian visibility built into the product rather than treated as an afterthought.

8. International Data Transfers

Our infrastructure is primarily hosted on cloud providers that may process data across multiple regions. Where data crosses borders, we rely on the provider's standard contractual safeguards and our own access controls to maintain consistent protection regardless of physical location.

9. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by contacting us directly. We aim to respond to verified requests within a reasonable timeframe, consistent with applicable data protection law.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, our products, or applicable law. Material changes will be reflected with an updated revision date at the top of this page.

11. Contact Us

Questions about this policy, or requests related to your personal data, can be directed to our team via the contact page.
